Hi
need help with a question has i'm about to undertake my theatre and mobile assessment and feeli'm not able to find the answer myself. whilst on my mobile week the radiographer explained to me that we only did chest xrays and the odd abdomen xray in accordance with department protocol which i fully understood then they went to explain the poorer image quality of mobile xrays and the benefit of getting the patient to the department which i understood. what i didn't understand and which was told to me and not explained and i have read irr99 and ir(me) r that it is laid down why we only do chest xrays mobile and only for clinical emergencies. i have read these on line and am lost especially if i get a question referring to whether a mobile xray is done on the ward in and out of hours.
