i must say that as an AP i'm treated very fairly within my trust. i can fully understand how you could be overlooked though. you must speak up !! so that your colleagues appreciate you and your valued skills. However an AP i shall shortly no longer be. my managers gave the go ahead for myself and another AP to do a six month bridging course and then we joined the 3rd year BsC students. my final exams are in may aaaggghhh. However having been a helper and an AP i will in future champion the varied skills that help run a successful department. Good luck x |
