[Emily] May Raper/1942
Iam trying to trace anyone who may have known my Grandmother May (Emily May Raper) from Newcastle upon Tyne. When she passed away in 2002 we found amongst her personal effects a small autograph book signed by personnel from RAF Bridgnorth and some of the entries are dated September 1942. I understand that she was serving with the W.A.A.F at this time and was married in October 1942 to an RAF Corporal. Any information, however scant, would be greatly appreciated. |
