Uncle - square bashed at RAF Bridgenorth
My Uncle did his square bashing at RAF Bridgenorth. His name Trevor Mumford service number 4152339. Before he was at RAF Cardington then after went to RAF Innsworth. He was serving from 1954 to 1957. Would like to see if anyone rembers him and whether there are any photo's with him on. Unfortunately all his records & photo's were destroyed in a fire so would like obtain some more for his Birthday on 19th March.

Hi Shane, looking through the Service Numbers on Bridgnorth web, see that there is a Tony Haynes number 4152311- his number is so close to your uncles that it is likely they were in the same or entry. Suggest you look through the "General photos" pages for 1954 - it may be longwinded but in doing so you may see your uncle. Hope this is of help to you. regards Ken |

Additional information found out. - Shane Willett My Uncle told me today after further questioning the he was billeted at Hut 21 and in the bed next to him was a chap called Tony Martin. perhaps folks out there may remember him or having the hut might help. |
