Janie Lynn Parmer Felton

January 13, 2008

Janie Lynn Parmer Felton, of Kansas City, MO passed away early this a.m., from an apparent heart attack. Janie was born September 22, 1952 in Miami, Oklahoma and lived, for approximately 2 years, in Picher prior to moving to the K.C. area.

Janie's survivors include her husband, Cliff Felton, of Kansas City, MO; daughter, Rachel Rico and her husband Johnny, and their daughter, Keli Jo. of Peculiar, MO; her mother, Ernestine "Polly" Wood Howard of Grandview, Missouri; her brother Arty Howard and his wife and children, Mona, Austin, and Grace Ann of Houston, Texas. Other relatives include her aunts and uncles, Otherine Wood Pence & husband,Charles of Blue Springs, MO; Shirley Wood O'Neal and her husband, Lacy of Oswego, KS; Twila Wood Harris, Springfield, MO; Amy Cruzan and Maxine Feagan, of the Picher-Cardin area. She is also survived by many cousins and their children.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Edna & Arthur Wood and Walter & Lela Parmer of Picher-Cardin area. Also preceding her in death was her Aunt Delores "Ikey" Wood Walkenshaw.

Arrangements for her services are indefinite at this time.

I am so sorry for all the family. Janie was a great person and the times I got to be with her was a treat. She was a happy person to be around. I would stay some in the summer with Ophie, Jack & Melinda, so....family is kinda connected. Again, know you are in my prayers.
