Ice, ice, and more ice..
Good grief!!! I didn't think I had any more trees that could break or lose limbs. I have several big limbs down in the back yard (1 big limb fell on the house and bounced off) and lost one complete tree in the front. The front tree broke in three huge pieces; one fell in the yard, one across the street; and one across the driveway. All that with only about one-half inch of ice. We haven't lost power though (yet, and knock on wood). My daughter's power is out; she lives about 15 blocks away from me....(Springfield, MO) |

So sorry to hear about the snow and ice. Here in south Texas it was up to 96 last week. But there is a cold front moving into the area and suppost to cool it down into the 70's. Just kidding....... when I retired I started going south during the winter, Yuma Az and Alamo Tx. Went home for christmas, had 6 inches and snow and 35 mph winds. Was glad to get back to the warm weather. Butch Powell |
