Needs help finding relatives

Okay, gang. Here's another one. Help her out please. She posted this on the guestbook, and you can reach her through it.

What is your name? Linda Briggs
How did you find this website? just looking
Where are you from? I live in Portland OR now
Please enter your comments? I am so thrilled with your website! I am looking for anything on my family history, Barnetts and Hewkin. We are having a family reunion over the 4th of July and my cousins that are organizing it wanted pictures. I have been so lucky to find several of my relatives on this site. Elaine and Tykie Hewkin, Wilma Hewkin, my mom. Gloria Barnett, who I have talked to, who is a cousin I never knew I had. This started when I was looking for information on my mother's family. My mom was only 4 when her mother, Daisy Barnett Hewkin, died, and she knew nothing about her grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins. I still am looking for anything. I still have no pictures of Daisy, or her family, so if anyone out there can help. Daisy's parents were Joseph Francis Barnett and Narcissa (Nora) Barnett. They had several children, Evan, Harry, Roy, Nella, Daisy ( my grandmother) and Elma. My mother did attend Picher high and I found her in the 1951 Senior girls glee club. What a pleasant surprise. I still haven't found anything on my Aunt Fran. Every day I look at this site, and it seems like every day I find something new. I cannot begin to tell you how much I have enjoyed this site. It is bringing my family to life for me. I love it. You have done such a wonderful job. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Re: Needs help finding relatives

I keep thinking of the name Larry Barnett.

And I keep thinking that this was a person a couple of years ahead of me. Would have been out of PHS in 57 or 58. This would have been about the time frame of Don Kaheley or Judy (Patterson) Keheley.

But this is just a thought.

Peace

Ed

Re: Needs help finding relatives

Ed thanks for the post, the name Larry has not come up, but my mom did not know any of her cousins on the Barnett side. He could well have been a son of Nella/Nellie, or Harry, or Elma. If you remember anything else, please let me know. Thanks so much.
