Barnett/Hewkin
I hope you can help. I am looking for any pictures or information on my mothers family. My mom is in her 70's and I would love to give her a gift of pictures. Here is the story of my mom. My mom was just 4 years old when her mother passed away. Her father then had no contact with that side of the family. My mother knew nothing about her mother's family. My mom is Wilma Darlene Hewkin, she had a twin Marie Elaine Hewkin, they were born on July 12, 1934, Marie died 09/30/1934. My mother has another sister Francis Marie Hewkin. Their dad was Lawrence Hewkin who worked in the mines. I believe Eagle Mining Company. My mother's mom was Daisy Barnett Hewkin. I am looking for any info on Daisy's family. Daisy's parents were Joseph and Narcissa (Manar) Barnett. Their children were Evan, Harry, Roy, Nellie, Daisy, and Elma (Alma). Daisy was born in 1917 in Missouri and died in 1939 in Picher OK. Marie the twin also died in Picher OK. I found one picture of my mom on CardinKids.com. But I am really looking for anything on Daisy and her family. If you have any info or pictures it would be greatly appreciated. We are talking about 1910-1955. My mom was a senior in 1951, but did not graduate. The picture I found she was a senior in the girls glee club. Thanks so much for everything. |
