An interesting non sequitor. I'm not sure how frozen H2O in ice caps effects water vapor in the atmosphere. I'm not even sure we have good data on relative amounts of water vapor and CO2 in the polar areas.
Also, I could make the statement that we shouldn't worry about releasing CFC's near the equator, because the ozone hole is only over the poles.
I could just as well attribute the polar warming to the sun's effect on cosmic rays, because the effect would be greatest at the poles, where the earth's magnetic field doesn't shield against the solar wind and it's effect on cosmic rays. |
