Absolutely. I just think the statement "In the atmosphere there is over a hundred times the concentration of water vapour" needs a little more qualification since the concentration varies so much from region to region. Polar regions and deserts should have the lowest - in the former case because the lower temperature will cause it to condense and freeze out of the air. I haven't managed to find any numbers for the relative humidity at the poles compared to the tropics - maybe there aren't any.... |
