well, i like things as they are, and many thanks for your efforts, john. its great to read commentary from a numerate perspective
to avoid flashing ads try using mozilla firefox browser and the ad block plugin - it gets rid of all images you dont want to see, stops popups and speeds up pageloading hugely. i rarely use ie now.
