Hmm.
Organic.
For my birthday a while back I was given 2 pre-packed growing containers - sort of foil bags - that you open, put the enclosed separately packed seeds into the expensively purchased compost and sprinkle with water (not too much) and await the shoots.
The Pepper plant pack managed to germinate 4 seeds. (The second growth to appear failed to develop propoer leaves but struggled on for some weeks before produce a new pair and is not starting to grow as it should have done. Bravo!
The 'Organic' other pack - garlic chives allegedly - has done nothing, zip, nada. Totally useless.
The Supermarkets over here have started to mix up the displays of Organic and non-organic fresh vegetables. I can't imagine why
One has to be very careful now to ensure avoidance of the over-priced and overrated produce with the O label.
