Houston Tejano Concert
tejano music in texas is pretty much gone from what it use to be. In Houston there is no trace that tejano was even around,in my oppionion tejano is the greatest thing the seperated us the mexican americans from the rest (no wrong intentions) tejano has great and vibrant sounds to it. Think of it Ruben Ramos, Jay Perez, Little Joe.... These great artist are still around and playing in 15's and parties. These and other events keep the Tejano wave alive.....I know for a fact that the Knight's Of Columbus Council 8404 is having a great event in Houston, along with a raffle....in downtown Houston In Jones Plaza on Sunday September 23, 2007. Tickets are only $10 but check out this link http://www.kofc8404.org/Flyers/FallExtrPosterII%20Flyer.pdf Some of the artist that will be playing are Jimmy Edward, Avizo, David Marez, La Soledad, La Dystancia, and La Traizion.......Artist will play from 12pm to 7 pm.
