Hello,
nice to see a balanced discussion and board about some of the questions which have answers which don't quite fit the question.
Now "Who kiled Robert Johnson?"
Robert Johnson was the perfect Delta blues hero and there is such scant info about his life that much "devil and crossroads" myths have grown up.
But his death at the fashionable age of mid 20's is one of the legends in the blues world which can still provoke discussion.
It was put down to poisoned whisky, but the sources for that were from a fello muso Sonny Boy Williamson who was not frightened of a good yarn,especially as his version involved him initially stopping RJ drinking the booze.
Any thoughts.
