It was an excellent concert!
Elton John was absolutely amazing! It was a fantastic concert, one that I will never forget. It was only him and his piano, no band, and it was awesome!!  He sang for 2 1/2 hours, with no break, just kept on playing! He signed autographs at the end, and when he came back on for the encore, he said he likes to play in places he has never been, and also places that artists tend to overlook. That was his reason behind coming to our town. He also said that he would love to come back!!! I am tired this morning, but it was soooo worth it!

I am so glad that you enjoyed it, Lynne. I would have loved to hear him sing. I bet it was worth it, after all you can always catch up on your sleep, right? LOL. |

There's always time to catch up on sleep, isn't there! Sounds like you had a great time, as you expected! I'm surprised he doesn't come to S.D...it's a place everyone overlooks!!

So glad to hear that you enjoyed your concert..My husband always says that there is plenty of time to sleep when you are dead....LOL! So enjoy life..No one that famous ever comes to my neck of the woods..LOL |

That is all so true girls! You can always catch up on sleep!! LOL Hope everyone is having a good day/weekend, it's been so quiet on the forum lately. My hubby is away this weekend to do some snowmobiling, so it's just me and the dog. He is staring at me right now, holding a ball in his mouth. Guess he wants to play!!!! Have a good day all!

Yes, very quiet here...I didn't know we were capable of being quiet! LOL I'm sure feeling punk...blech. Haven't been sick in a long time...but it sure got me good now! Hope everyone's having a great weekend! |
