Brinklow 6-a-side 2007
Just got back from Barr Lane after the final day of our football festival,and the first thought that has hit me is I wished all tournaments were as good as ours. It takes a lot of preparation and thought into staging such events but ours always runs like clockwork and of course we have a canny knack of ordering such fabulous weather. Too many links in the chain to thank for making this tournament so special,but I felt that this was one of the best. The pitches this year were absolutely fantastic and allowed for some phenomenal football which suited our home teams who progressed to the final in most age groups,so well done to them.The pinnacle of the weekend was without question the under 10s victory,and with it memories which the players and parents will savour for many a year. So well done to everyone involved in making this weekend such an enjoyable and entertaining one and for me the only real winners this weekend were Brinklow Football Club who once again all came together as one. |
