i have an lts that was originally sold at indian head motors in saskatchewan canada-i bought it in july of 02-it had been sitting in a car lot for 6 mnths-the guy new what it was and wanted 1900$cdn about 1300us-i bought it in a heartbeat-it had 200k on it when i bought it-multiply the k by 6 and divide by 10 and you have mileage-so 120g miles-it was a totally original car that had some rust running boards and was used for towing a trailer most of its life-since then i painted it replaced the 302 cfi to 351w holley 600 all new 3/8 fuel lines and put a new aod in it -also big frt brakes-10 holes w/cougar caps-an 8.8 w/3:73-the interior is stock and i deleted the horrid side trim from the car-it looked like a million bucks until oct.12 when my wife(OK)was hit from behind and total lost the car-there was 7500$ damage to the car-its up in the air right now as to the fate of the car but the trunk is pushed forward about 3 inches the rear bumper was totally torn off the car and she was pushed into the car in front of her so it is damaged also-it blows cause i just put the new powertrain into it and had about 600miles on the stuff-the car was going into storage the next weekend for the winter-it was an 80 degree day with beautiful skies the day of the accident-i would deserve it if it had been winter-but it wasnt-------------sad in sask. bill |
