Important Update... Everyone Please Read!!!
Hello Everybody! Big R here... I hope everyone is having a good summer. Mine has been up and down, but pretty good so far. I spent 5 days in Daytona Beach surfing and worked on my tan with my family and I just returned from 2 days of tarpon fishing yesterday in south Florida after landing the only fish of the day at 100 pounds. Now, it's time to get to work... I know many of you are anxious about getting your music and information about band camp. I have been having some major computer problems that began on the last day of work for teachers and I am still having issues, even after sending it to Boston to get it fixed. Because of the problems, I have been unable to print paperwork for all of you to go along with the music. I also have been fighting with the office at school to get addresses to mail packets to (mainly freshmen). As of today, I still don't have them, but I was promised to get them Monday morning. I was able to get most of the information needed for your packets and print them out before my computer crashed again, so I think that part has been solved. Hopefully (cross your fingers) you will get everything either by the end of next week or beginning of the following week. Our guard captains have already been to camp and our drum majors are about to leave for theirs, so some of our leaders are already getting geared up. As soon as I can get my computer issues taken care of, I will begin writing drill and start getting the show together. Another important piece of info: we are signed up for working at the Ray Jay!!!  Thanks to Mr. Caravona, we are scheduled to attend a training at the Ray Jay on July 23rd for any parent interested in helping us. Please have them e-mail me and I forward the info to Mr. Caravona as we need to let the Ray Jay know who is coming for security reasons to allow them into the stadium. Last year, the average amount of money made for each group was $20,000!!!  I hope this helps in the mystery of when you will get your music (people that played at graduation was able to get it because I got it that afternoon and brought it to the ceremony). If i don't respond to your e-mails, please understand why due to technical problems. Please be patient! Have a great summer and I will talk to you all as soon as possible! Thanks, Big R
