hi there im thinking of using veg oil too and been told (not confirmed yet) that u can use up to 2000 litres per yr without duty on it, ive asked a few ppl on another forum and the said to thin it with parafin , or kerosene if thats all you can get , im going to do a 50/50 ratio and this will make it ok in all weather
i dont want to get a conversion kit because if i go somewhere and cant get hold of veg oil as its usualy sold out or more expensive in some parts of the country , so i want to be able to use straight diesel from the pump too, tell me how things go
my car is a 51 plate ford mondeo 2.0 tdci which is a 2002 model .
p.s lets try this together and see how it goes
but first i need to know the exact amount of parafin to mix with the oil first , will post when i find out :) |
