i run an 8 wheel tipper and spend about £700 on deisel p/week, and to make any profit i need to cut the cost of fuel(legaly!)
i use about 600 litres p/week, so would need about 300 litres of rape oil? per week to make it viable on a 50/50 mix with paying the 27.1p duty. this would give me a saving of £200-£300 pounds per week if i could by the rape @ 30p -40p per litre and do a straight poor in. Does anybody know if this cinario is possible? i have a 1998 leyland daf 85 cf 340 bhp 32 tonner |
