PocketCruiser Days 1987-1991

When I was onboard Stoddert, CDR Onyon nicknamed her the "Worlds Best Pocket Cruiser". I may have the word "best" wrong, it may have been "biggest" or something similar. ANyways, he called her that because she had all the capabilities of a cruiser, only we were smaller. We even had a patch made with the logo on it. I'll look for it, maybe be able to get a picture taken to send in. GREAT Skipper he was!

I retired EWC(SW) in 2005, but use EW1 as a ref to anyone that may have been onboard with me in those great days. It feels like forever ago to me, but gesh to look at the dates most of you were onboard I feel like I just came outta bootcamp..haha.

ALOHA Shipmates!

Ron,

Help me brother. I'm trying to get documentation to correct a service record entry from westpac 88. Please see my message on the DDG-22 message board.

Thanks, Joe
