Naming a new DDG after Benjamin Stoddert

Shipmates! The Navy has decided to curtail the new DDG 1000 class and complete the two ships currently in production. The plan is to build the less expensive Arleigh Burke class of DDG. This will mean more DDGs in the fleet. Now is our chance to request that one of those ships be named after Benjamin Stoddert. Write or email your Senator and member of Congress and ask them to propose/support such action.
