Message:		We know for a fact it was not a coyote. They are very skittish in this area and will run at the first hint of people. Dan did say that this animal was really tall with sleaker features. He said his first instinct was when he saw it was its a wolf. Which I am seriously hoping not. The wolf has been reintroducded in this area and because it is protected we can not legally shoot them even if they are attacking our livestock . How will they know you ask, many of them have radio collars on and the mintute they are shot the collar sends off a different signal. Apparently the government will compensate you (money) for your livestock if indeed it was a wolf kill. Absolutely rediculous in my book! . I keep telling myself that it was the neighbor dog because the thought of a wolf out there scares the crap out of me. Hopefully whatever it is won't be back. If it does we will take care of it regardless of what it is. . Thanks everyone and have a great day! Brittany
