Message:		5 more days until Annie's due date WOOT WOOT. Teats aren't totally filled out yet but getting really close. Her vulva is getting more relaxed but still has a little more to go. Poor girl does have some edema going on in her right rear leg. It seems pretty nice (although here that can change in a second), I am hoping to turn her out for a little while today. Maybe that will help to get some edema off the hind leg. Other thing. You will notice that we put down more straw. You will probably only see us bedding her stall now with straw because shavings are getting hard to find out here. Not only that a small bag of shavings are $5.99 and that won't even cover half a regular stall. Straw is $6.00 for a three string bale and that will cover the entire foaling stall. So don't get too excited if you see us spreading straw at this point! . Everyone take care and I will update if I see any changes! Brittany
