Message:   I just love the way you put things, Mickey. As I was reading that, it really got me thinking. The struggle that I have with step one, is about the powerlessness thing, and it absolutely involves God. If I turn to God, and actually ask him to help me, then the feeling that I have no power is just lifted completely. Because the power is coming from Him.
A lot of the stories I hear when people come into these rooms, is usually stuff like, "I beleived in God as a child, but somehow lost him." or "I have never believed in God." or "I believe in God, but didnt think he could help me."
All that is about, is we have never turned to Him when we should have. And it is so much easier when He is consulted.
Kinda cool when you really think about it, huh?

Anyway, thanks so much for your wisdom, and for letting me ramble.
