I was so sick, I didn't know I was sick I assure you I was as sick as you don't think you are I was broke, busted, disgusted and not to be trusted just a pain in everybody's ass People say "I used because I had emotional pain, I had issues" Pass the Tissues I have issues!, I don't remember ever saying "Oh bartender, get me a double shot I can't stand who I am & I want to cover up the pain tonight" My drug of My drug of choice is yours, whatever you got, I want it" Marijuana made me horny & hungry i woke up the next day with a sore arm and a bed full of pizza crust Before recovery I said - "Pray to God? If I do that, he'll know where I am, I have been ducking him for years, because I thought, ?when he finds me..." I wish I could, "Just Say No" but if I could say "No" I wouldn't be here. ?See, I can't NOT do it just because I don't want to. Because I got a disease that I am powerless over that makes me do what I already don't want to do. So I gotta not wanna do it but then I gotta do these steps and this work so that I don't do what I already don't want to do. And if I ain't doing these steps and this work or ain't done these steps and this work I WILL do what I don't wanna do. Because the disease that I got, that I am Powerless over, will make me do what I don't wanna do. You think I knew that **** when I got here? I came here a Hopeless Dope Fiend, and now I am a Dopeless Hope Fiend I carry the message TO you, but FOR me When an old established idea comes in contact with the truth, the truth has almost no effect on it
