Message:   Pho Ao Sen in Oakland is the best in the East Bay. It's on the corner of International Blvd and 2nd Street.

The thing about Ao Sen is that C can get a hot bowl of steamy pho and Fatemeh, you can get a cool and refreshing bun (vermicilli salad). I suggest the chao gio (pronounced cha yo, Vietnamese fried spring rolls) and shrimp as toppings, although it's a off-the-menu combination. Their pork is dry and not-so-recommended. Don't forget to pour the nuoc mam sauce over the bowl!
