Roberto Eason joins QPR on initial 2 month loan
QPR have reached agreement with the Brazilian FA to capture the loan deal of defensive Meat-Neck Roberto Eason for the next two months. This two month signing ensures Eason will stay at Loftus Road until Wednesday 27th December. Gaffer John Gregory could hardly hide his delight at the news, telling www.qpr.co.uk: "I'm delighted that the Brazilian FA have given us permission to take him on loan for two months.' Gregory acted quickly after a glowing reccomendation from his new assitant,Gary deCaires. "He will be fantastic for us in the next eight weeks and I'm confident that we'll see more of the same mincing in gloves that we've witnessed since THAT photo". "He's a great character to have around the place. His professionalism is second to none and it's rubbing off on all the other lads in the squad. As long as thats the only thing he will be rubbing then I'm sure the lads will go into the showers with an air of confidence." "He sets such high standards of himself and that can only be good for Queens Park Rangers Football Club.'' deCaires added: "We feel very honoured to have a player of his class and potential at the Club. "He's uncomplicated, goes about his job in the right manner and will only go from strength to strength in the next eight weeks or so.'' In what can only be described as a unique wage payment, Eason will play for the price of 15 Woo Woo's a week and ,should he score a goal, he will be allowed to play his Scissor Sister's album in the showers at the end of the game. Brazilian Under-9's international Eason has flourished since his move to England, scoring two goals in 96 appearances from a central defending berth whilst playing for Brill and Hove Albion . |
