Doctrines, Passions, and Mistakes.
Doctrines, Passions, and Mistakes. Do not allow your passion to override common sense. Passion; The feeling of the mind, or the sensible effect of impression; excitement, perturbation or agitation of mind; as desire, fear, hope, joy, grief, love, hatred. Our passions for specific subjects, especially concerning those, that are contrary to sound judgment, clouds our minds, and allows Satan to get a hold of the individual, this we must be careful of. We must read a little of Bible, so that we can understand what this message is about. Whosoever transgresseth( In a moral sense, to overpass any rule prescribed as the limit of duty; to break or violate a law, civil, or moral. To transgress a divine law, is sin.), and abideth(In general, abide by signifies to adhere to, maintain defend, or stand to, as to abide by a promise, or by a friend; or to suffer the consequences, as to abide by the event, that is, to be fixed or permanent in a particular condition.) not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine( Instruction and confirmation in the truths of the gospel.), receive him not into your house, neither bid (To wish or pray, for success, in an endeavor.)him God speed: For he that biddeth him “God speed”(Success; prosperity in an undertaking; favorable issue; that is, advance to the desired end.) is partaker(An accomplice; an associate.) of his evil deeds.(2John 1:9-11) When we become involved in defending a transgression of the Law of God, we err from the truth, and have entered into sin. When we become an associate, again, defending, fornication, homosexuality, drunkenness, etc, we become partaker of that sin. The transgressions of Gods laws, and believing in them to be good, is also a sin, and will be judged as such. By believing and defending, any sin, becomes a doctrine, which we know is, Instruction, and confirmation, of what we are affirming. Knowing the doctrines of God, we are without excuse, doing these things. It is not the person that is committing fornication, that is the issue of Gods Wrath, but the sin itself. We must remember that someone died for our sins. Are we to take the doctrine of Christ, and annul it, because we believe contrary to certain verses in the Bible? Annul; To make void; to nullify; to abrogate; to abolish; used appropriately of laws, decrees, and edicts. You still say that, God will not condemn those, that sin a sin, that you believe is victim-less. There is no sins that do not have a victim. Those that transgress the Law of God, are the victims, for they have been duped by Satan to believe that, they are not hurting any one. When you sin a sin, and have others join in this sin, then they also become victims. When conversations become perverse disputing, we must not allow ourselves to become ensnared in their folly. Perverse disputing; Literally, turned aside; hence, distorted from the right. Obstinate in the wrong; disposed to be contrary; stubborn; untractable. There are many that are bound to distort the Truth of Gods Word. I see them each, and every day, those that wish to only give advise, but never wanting to listen to the truth. They give only partial verses, and never explain what they are reading. They take bits, and pieces, of scripture, put them together, and call them the true doctrine. The Bible states of these people; “If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness; He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.” (1Ti 6:3-5.) Lets take a couple of verses from Revelations, and see if God condones any sin, the so called victim-less sin: “And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:” (Rev 9:20) According to many, a drunkard is a victim-less crime, if this is so then wouldn't the worshiping of Idols, and devils, also be considered a victim-less crime? Lets continue; “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and *****mongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” (Rev 21:8) Know |
