Be Merciful unto Me a Sinner. 1.

Be Merciful unto Me a Sinner.

A Prayer of understanding and sorrow.
No matter what religion you belong to, without Christ in your life, you are lost. Without Christ you cannot know God, and without God, you cannot know His Spirit.

Be Merciful unto Me, a Sinner, O Lord, for you know my heart, and all my ways.
You have seen me in the light of day, and my works of evil, and you have known me in the darkest of nights, and the sins I have preformed.

I have went into the highest of mountains, and the lowest of valleys. I have not been able to hide myself from your watchful eyes.
You have heard my reveling, and the joys, I have done upon this earth. All these things of unrighteousness have I preformed, and now ask for forgiveness, for I have found that all these things have been but just vanity.

Be Merciful unto Me, a Sinner, O Lord. Look into my heart, I am full of weeping and sorrow. I call upon the name of your Dear Son Jesus and I believe. I remember all my sin and have asked for forgiveness. I believe that Jesus is both Lord, and Christ. I believe that He died for my sins, and the sins of all the world.

I believe that He rose on the appointed day, and was received back into your Heaven to be returned to His former Glory. I believe that He is now setting upon your right hand side, and is making intersessions for me, and all others like me. I believe O Lord, please help my unbelief. Be Merciful unto Me, a Sinner.

For God giveth to a man that is good in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he giveth travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to him that is good before God. This also is vanity and vexation of spirit.
I am justified by your mercy. For as it is written and I have read; “Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.”
Please give to me the wisdom, knowledge, the joy of your promises, and your most excellent word. For I was hungry and you gave me to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me to drink.

I was alone and you comforted me, I was afraid and you surrounded me by your angels to place a standard around me. I was blind and you gave me sight, I was deaf and you gave me understanding, and I was dumb and you gave me a voice to testify of your excellent greatness.
