Fiat 124 Station Wagon for Sale - Sydney NSW
Hi all, My cousin has a FIAT 124 Station Wagon that he was going to restore which is now up for sale. Only found out today during father's day lunch that my cousin has decided not to continue with this project, he doesn't have the time anymore to spend on it. (Girlfriend, work, etc etc...) This is only one of 10 that came to Australia so it is quite rare. We know of 2 in Western Australia, 1 in Victoria, 1 in Qld and we think this is the only one in NSW / Sydney. Car was built in 1969, car has an original 1300cc engine I think (I'll get that confirmed as I can't remember right now), 4 speed box, and 4 wheel disc brakes. (No modern day cons of power windows / steering etc...) The car has a decent interior, only the front drivers seat needs some repair (seats are vinyl). The car's dash is all original and the instrument cluster is all original as well, speedo is in miles and even has the original steering wheel. He also has an 1800cc engine to go in the car. The car is a shell at the moment and is back to bare metal (The engine, gearbox, windows, suspension, fuel tank etc have been removed. The shell is about 80% back to bare metal, the doors, the bonnet and the tailgate have all been stripped back to metal and have been painted in primer. And yes the car has some rust, all FIAT's do! I will have pics up soon.... So if your into FIAT's or into restoring old car's and have the time, this project could possibly be perfect for you and once finished, you will own something very unique and rare....
