Message:   Hello everyone! Miss you guys SOOOOOOOO MUCH! Aidan and Cole are 1 year old now and both are walking! Crazy hey?

I wanted to brainstorm a bit for the (potential) Vancouver Trojans Cheer and Dance Team for 2008.

There has been questions arising about the cheer team for 2008.

I wanted to THROW IT OUT THERE AND GET EVERYBODY'S FEELING ABOUT THAT...I am sure the club missed us when we were gone. And the coaches were quite convincing with how much they want us to get back in the spirit - those boys need us!

So my reality and ideas:
1) I would love to come back and commit to helping with the website, general coaching / assistant coaching in practices, admin stuff, and all that....BUT I need help, can't handle it on my own
2) Cost has sucked the big one for the last few years and I would be happier lightening up on the advanced stuff, practice somewhere cheap (like a school), and have less cost for the team members
3) fundraising: it is a reality - we always need to do this no matter what we get from the club! but less is way better!
4) Cheer AND DANCE? I would like to see more dance / music based performance, a little less cheer and stunt......I liked what nanaimo had going on this season with their dancers.....pretty neat
5) tryouts - we need to think about this for the new year.....i need some volunteers for coaching and helping me run things so let me know if you are in.
6) these are only ideas! i am so open to whatever it dont matter!
7) i may want to come back on the team itself if EVERYONE PROMISES TO KEEP MY AGE A SECRET! (i am so out of shape and i love getting on the field!)

So please please please respond with your ideas, comments and questions and anything else that comes up.....
