Ritmo Abarth Series 1

http://cgi.ebay.fr/FIAT-RITMO-ABARTH-2000-125-TC_W0QQitemZ4636405907QQcategoryZ9843QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Looks like a complete and original car with 60k miles - It's in France. Bids starting at €1000. I think they were all LHDs so if anyone was looking for one it could be worth considering.

Cheers

Re: Ritmo Abarth Series 1

Used to be one around the Galway area a few years back (mid-80's) - the guy used to turn up to local rallycross meets. You're right, was only in LHD (as was the Mk2 125TC - immediate predecessor to the 130TC - very rare). The official reason given at the time was the usual downpipe v's steering gear issue, although I seem to recall the distributor location wasn't ideal either (although this might be my grey matter playing tricks on me).

The interior was similar to the 105TC of the same era. I have a brochure for the 125TC somewhere... nice car!

Re: Ritmo Abarth Series 1

No reason for fiat not to make a right hand drive version of the 125tc due to the exhaust manifold . Its exactly the same manifold as used on the 130tc strada .I know its a very tight fit . I drove a fiat 125 tc in the early nineties and was not impressed . Even fiat admitted when the 130tc came out that they were been very optimistic about the power output of the 125tc . I would say that the 130tc is just as rare as a 125tc in ireland
