A friend brought me some Swiss Chard, fresh lettuce, radishes and green onions. That and some roasted chicken made one outstanding lunch.
Ivy even ate good today.
Oh, if everyone in this world could have been so fortunate!!!
But no soggy mater samidge? I see that on the 29th they are giving away free tomato sandwiches at the Sylacauga Farmers Market....may be worth the trip.
You know me...I would go that far for one. I have not bought a tomatoe since I lived here that came close to the tomatoes there...now, I have gotten some from the families in our church that were right out of the garden that were delicious. None of the people I know are getting any yet but supposedly there are some local ones on the market.
