I have a screen saver on my computer of a picture I took just outside Fargo,North Dakota a few weeks ago.
It reminds me of my days in the bedroom of Nashville...Franklin,Tn.
It was there, in 1979 ,that I gathered,wrote and produced a weekly syndicated "Nashville Report"..news of the world of country music according to Nashville.
One of the radio stations that carried my broadcast was in Fargo,North Dakota. I had no idea where Fargo was,much less ever thinking about visiting there.
I hope I was not on a station in Saskatoon,Saskatchewan..I really don't have any desire to go there.
Don't knock Fargo They just told the politicians who wanted to eliminate property taxes to take a leap. I have only read the headline....don't knowwhy they want to keep paying taxes but there must be a good reason...I have to check it out.
Oh I found out....seems the state level politicians want to prohibit local property tax which would mean the death of local government....and then they can run things the way they want them in every nook and crany of ND...sound familiar? Why hasn't NoMobama come up with idea that in the scope of the Evolving Constitution all Govenors, Maryors, Town Selectmen etc.. should be tried for Treason, locked up and all Keys promptly lost or destroyed.
