Please come down from your lofty heights of self-righteousness and hear me out!

1. I am not anti-church

2. Because I am a divorced person,local Baptist
Churches will have no part of me.

3. I do not believe Yard Sales and bake sales are
the primary mission of the Church.

4. I believe in more than sitting in a pew and
praying for the Lord to send others to do His
work.
5. I am actively engaged in one on one counceling,
writing for ministers throughout the southeast.

6. Not to boast,but for His Glory, I'll put my
record of winning the lost to Christ,ministering
to the broken hearted and DOING God"s work,up
against most of the regular church attending
self-righteous,luke warm Christians.

7. For instance,this past week-end...Rita and I
drove over 600 miles,expense of near $300,to
counsel and encourage my college room-mate's
son,who happens to be associate pastor of
Calvary Chapel in Tallahassee,Fl. I get no glory
for this,sell no books,etc. This is the best I
can do for the Lord now that "Regular Church
attenders" have condemmended me to Hell.

8. Please don't pray to God like the Pharisees that
had a major part in making sure the maverick
Christ was hung on a cross,"I thank God that I am
not as other men".

9. PLEASE DO NOT JUDGE ME WHEN YOU HAVE NOT WALKED
IN MY SHOES!!

10. And,finally...I know some of you will be shocked
to see me in Heaven. But..until then,I'll go on
singing.

We need more Don S. in the Church. Preach what God tells you to Preach. Just always remember who will be the Judge.

I hate to be left out of the loop but I must have missed the message prior to Don's "Message".

Was there something prior to Don's 1-10 dissertation???

Christians have about devoured me for my statement about missing church..I MISS WHAT THE TRUE CHURCH IS MEANT TO BE!!

Oh, well, I guess I missed the whole thing. As to misguided prayers, etc., I'm selfish, and I pray mostly for myself, because I think I may need it more than those who already have everything all figured out. I'm just your run-of-the-Mill-Village sinner.
