When I was 20 years old I never knew that I would see:

People rejoice that gasoline was now at $2.99 a gallon.

Oil changes are $40

Boiled,fried corn or just a photo of an ear of corn would rate so high.

Who ever thought about Co-Pay?

Restless leg syndrome.

The temperature is a great concern to me.

Major newspapers publishing only 3 times a week.

Kids can't watch TV with parents (adult themes).

Churches going bankrupt!!

Bagging your own groceries at the store and carrying them out yourself.

X rated songs on the Radio.

Having a telephone in your pocket or purse.

The best cars being made in Japan.

Not wearing a suit and tie to church.

Wondering if a person we just met is a man or a woman.

Having enough money to buy something good and there is nothing good to buy.

Paying more that $2,000 for a car.

Looking forward to reading the obits on line.

Knowing more people that are dead than alive.

Thinking that Joyce Conway is now "crazy about me"..and that Jack Walker does not mind. (Not yet verified).

Still remembering fondly the days of high school and having a relationship with folks that you might have known when you were 6 years old.
