When I was MUCH younger,I never thought I'd see:

Barber shops closed on Saturday afternoon.

Non-Africians wearing rings in unusual places on their anatomy.

A Gay parade that was not a Christmas celebration downtown,with Santa Clause at the rear.

That a younger person would not understand if you said your car wouldn't "crank".

Strait men would be afraid to wear a pink shirt and charcoal grey pants.

Birmingham would become 20 miles closer to Sylacauga.

Sylacauga's buttermilk hill would have the #1 Restauraunt in town.

Howard Hill would still be called "Babo".

Avondale Mills would be a fading memory.

Japan would make cars in Talladega County.

Tomato gravy would cause senior citizens to drool at the mouth.

We can "google" someone and it not be obscene.

Bicyles would make a "come back".

We could keep in touch with folks in San Antonio or San Juan and not have to talk with them..just send an email!

A 4 lane highway would run through Oak Grove.

There must be more that we never saw coming!!
