My granny House dried apples...I had forgot about those. My wife and I did try that (once) also. Didn't turn out to good. Granny made some of the best fried pies ever.

My contrabution, if you ever find your self nout of BBQ sause and don't want to run to the store...pour as much ketchup as you need into bowl. Slowly add pepsi untill it tastes like you want. It may work with coke....If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
