After having thought about this for a bit I was glad; in my estimation children are generally pretty good at spotting a fake. I predict that if this sort of thing starts in schools it will produce a backlash and contribute to a generation motivated against greenie issues.

It's like when we were taught Christanity in school in the 70s. An obviously insincere bunch of old women who manifestly didn't like us much lectured to us for 50 minutes twice a week about how we should behave. It's the one thing that absolutely guaranteed I'll never become a Christian..
