They used enough jargon to make me say "Hmm, maybe they are researching something real!" Then they report their results. What percentage of High 2D:4D were highly successful and what percentage of them WEREN'T. Similarly, how did the low ratio people do.

The sole reported result is that it was significant.

They didn't even tell us how many people were in the study.

This is the type of report you make to your boss to maximize the chance that you get new funding next year to drink beer in the pub and get paid for it.

The hearing loss in golfers study appears to have been made into an item of national news, it appearing in the health pages of the BBC News website:
