Re: BBC Article on Secondhand Smoke

The BBC are the main purveyors of junkscience in the UK. They also take great delight in any smoking related misinformation or propaganda.

Even though our political classes and the PC mob have managed to convince themselves that second hand smoke is dangerous, there has never been any evidence of such. I repeat never.

If such a danger ever existed then a whole generation of us who grew up in the 1950’s would be crippled by it. We are not. In fact those of us who grew up in a world that smoked, ate loads of fatty foods, didn’t have central heating and had coal fires are currently breaking the longevity records.

According to current thinking in the junkscience fraternity we should all be dead.

Re: BBC Article on Secondhand Smoke

"There is no safe level of exposure to tobacco smoke and children are at risk of a range of diseases such as [...] potentially fatal meningitis as a result of breathing in second-hand smoke in the home or car."'

Total idiocy, there are NO viruses, bacteria, fungi, or parasites to be found in SHS.

Causes

Meningitis is usually caused by infection from viruses or microorganisms. Most cases are due to infection with viruses, with bacteria, fungi, and parasites being the next most common causes
