Nomination for Chartmanship

Do you do them?

This one comes from your friend and ours; the IPCC.

Michael Krüger writes at ScienceSceptical (in German) about the fiddle done in by the IPCC to make their projections/entrail readings look better than they actually are.

Pierre Gosselin of NoTrickZone provides commentary in English.

Krüger spotted a shift of 0.9⁰C in the lines … but that wasn't enough for me as the graphs still looked hokey. Closer inspection revealed a halving of the vertical scale interval that made the doubling of the width of the (for lack of a civil alternative) "error bands" go away unless one is reading the scales.

So the IPCC have doubled the uncertainty on their models' projections/scanarios.
