I have a 2006 Panda 1.2 which needs the service interval reset. Options include: go to a dealer, handheld tools, software tools on a laptop, or ignore it! has anyone any experience of any of these and any recommendations?

I understand the following works on the Grande Punto but haven't had to try it myself. Might be worth seeing if it also works on the Panda? Also told in the past that the light eventually resets itself if you leave it, but again not certain how accurate that is! 1. Turn the ignition switch to the "On" position without starting the engine. 2. Press the odometer reset button repeatedly until the total mileage is displayed. 3. Turn the ignition switch to "Off." 4. Press and hold the trip odometer reset button. 5. Turn the ignition switch to "On." Do not start the engine. 6. Release the trip odometer reset button after the service display counts down from 10 to 0 and the service light resets Worth a go anyway Gavin.
