Can i fit another engine apart from the 850 to my 900t van?

Does anybody have any advice on alternative fiat engines for my Fiat 900t van, utilising the original gearbox, or using the higher geared one from the 850 sport?

Any expert advice very welcome.

I fitted the complete 850 Sport Coupe engine & box with no problem & it went very well.

30 years ago I had a 850T camper with a 903 sport engine.

Radbourne fitted 124 engines to the 600-style Simca gearbox in the end-of-run batch of gorgeous Abarth Simca Coupes that they bought. The Simca Mille started life as the Fiat 115 AFAIK.

G M R in belgium recently had a 900t van with skoda estelle gearbox and 1600 tipo engine fitted, Hmmmm......
