handbrake cable clip snapped off - catching on wheel !

Has anyone got a recommended "fix" when the metal bracket snaps off that retains the handbrake cable on the stub axle? The handbrak is working fine, but a rubbing noise on the car was the cable catching the alloy wheel - worse still, the (very thin) metal "loop" that keeps the cable away from the wheel had bent "open" and had gouged a grove in the tyre wall !

I have replaced the tyre for safety and have used cable ties to fix the cable to the stub - i have to get a new cable as the wearing on the wheel had rubbed it down to the metal "spring" inside.

Are there any "proper" FIAT fixes that dealers do or is a heavy duty cable tie or maybe a very large metal Jubilee clip what they do too?

Thanks
