Having just replaced the exhaust manifold/ cat Ive now got a rattling top end sounds like camshaft, is this common like the old Ford Pinto, is there a known easy fix ?

I've only seen a worn camlobe on one engine and that was down to really poor oil or lack of changes. The fix is a replacement cam.
