Grand Punto Auto 2006.
Ingnition key will not turn.
Trying to turn key; Green indicator arrows flash and doors lock.
Any ideas as to my problem.

First start with the simple basics.
Make sure the key is the right one for the car. (If you have more than one Fiat in the household.)
Ensure key is fully inserted.
Wriggle wheel to ensure lock not holding tight preventing key from turning.
Are the lights flashing because you are squeezing the locking button while trying to turn the key.
If you've got this far, it seems that the lock barrel or the ignition switch has seized. Remove the column cowling to see the lock. If it is possible to detach the switch from the lock you will be able to determine which is the problem. Hopefully the switch is available separately.
