We're thinking of buying a 3 - 6 year old Panda but would ideally like electric mirrors but cars with these are few and far between.

Does anyone know if the wiring is already in place, i.e. would I just need to replace the mirror units and add in the switches?

Wiring very unlikely to be in place. Eleganza had electric mirrors as standard, these were also supposed to be heated too. I have an Alessi special edition, which was based on the Eleganza, but although it has electric mirrors, they are not heated. The heating circuit is not in the car, no wiring, no fuse, not even any electrical feed to the fuse position, so very difficult to install. On this basis, I doubt the wiring is in place on lower models.
