I think the part is the Clutch Release Fork - its the part that moves on top of the gearbox when the pedal is depressed - I guess it actuates the clutch release inside the housing?
It started making a "dry" creaking noise - only audible when the engine was switched off - I have sprayed a small amount of silicon on top of the arm where it pivots on the gearbox - the noise has now gone.
Is this what they would do at a dealer? Or should I get it checked out - its under warranty (only 4 months old) - or will the lubrication fix it?
Did have a similar noise on a Mark 3 punto - put a blob of grease on the arm pivot now and again.
